School Hours: Morning Session - Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening Session – Monday and Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Appropriate time is allotted so that all material can be covered during training • Review Sessions – conducted at the start & close of each class. The instructor will review previous day, address homework questions, clarity concerns etc • Interactive communication • Graduation upon successfully completing training requirements (training/nesting).
• Arrive to class on-time, with an “attitude to learn” • Actively participate. • Don’t be afraid to ask questions • Share ideas, thoughts and best practices • Take notes • Work with your classmates to create a team atmosphere • Have fun!.
In order to become Nationally Certified as a Billing and Coding Specialist, you will have to achieve a passing score of 72% or better on the Certification Exam. Once Certified, Medical Billing and Coding students can find immediate employment in various settings including hospitals, clinic, doctors' offices, nursing homes, pharmacies, insurance companies, consulting agencies and many more!.
